Convertible Cribs? All they’re cracked up to be?
All you mothers (or fathers) out there who have convertible cribs, are they really that much better? Do you actually convert & use them as your child grows? Just trying to decide whether or not to spend the extra money on it. Thanks!
We bought one and did use it as a toddler bed. We would be using it now but the headboard doesn’t match the rest of her furniture now. We are also expecting another one anyway so it doesn’t matter because we are using the crib for the new one.
Here is one tip however, I am 5ft 3in. Convertibles as far as I’m aware do not have drop sides, ours didn’t. When the baby gets bigger it can get difficult to get him or her in and out being on the shorter side.
We spent a lot on money on a beautiful crib. Not really sure it was worth it. But not against them either.
