Blanket Plush
Whats the best way 2 clean a 100% polyester lap blanket-its furry like a plush toy, aside from dry-cleaning?
I have this great little lap blanket thats oh-so-soft & furry (maybe 1 cm deep) like a plush stuffed animal on 1 side and just super soft (like 1-2mm deep) on the other. Do I HAVE to dry clean it? If I were to use the super delicate cycle on my washing machine, and then the air dry on the dryer, would that be ok?? I know it’ll never be quite the same as the day I bought it -it was sooo soft, though I definitely couldn’t afford it at the time, even at the bargain price it was- when I tried to hang it back on the rack at the store, I just couldn’t bear to put it back down! Matter of fact, I took it home in my lap, so I could keep touching it.. I swear, it was softer than a chinchilla.. well, almost! Sadly, it isn’t quite so soft now, but if someone could give me some pointers?? I would appreciate it a lot, being 34 and having my Mom gone so soon-4 yrs now, WELL before I gotten enough of her wisdom, pretty much means I’m at a loss on a lot of things ‘specially being the oldest of 3 kids.
it’s polyester! you could bang it on rocks at the riverside if you wanted to- just do NOT dry clean.
Hot cold warm water doesn’t matter. mild detergent and rinse well.Sorry about your MOM
