How long have Evenflo Baby Bottles been BPA free?
I noticed that all of the Evenflo bottles in the store are labeled as BPA free. I have some bottles from about 8-9 years ago when my son was a baby that were never used. I was going to use them this time around but I don’t know if they contain BPA. I can’t seem to find any info on it….does anyone know?

This just became an issue in spring of 2007 and the use of BPA in bottle is still allowed. Manufactures have voluntarily withdrawn BPA from bottles, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t out on the market.
Something that is hard plastic and 8 or 9 years probably is made with BPA. Glass is your best bet. Here is a guide I wrote to buying bottles, and an article with some more info.

Overall don’t use anything with a 3 or 7 on the bottom.
