Can you agree that Vince Carter is the best dunker of all time?
The picture-perfect 360s and windmills, jumping over 7 foot dudes, sticking his arm through the rim, etc.
The dude’s breath-taking. I know Jordan and others are up there as well, but i think Vince deserves the crown. Agree?
i agree completely, vince carter is the best dunker of all time.
i can think of other dunkers who are great, with the likes of jordan, dominique, dr j, drexler, r rich, hawkins (and streetballers air up there and kadour ziani), but i would still pick vc as #1.
i think since he has been quiet the last couple of seasons, people forget how good of a dunker vince was, i know i did. when i saw this q, the first thing i did was look him up on youtube and i was instantly reminded of his skill, athleticism, handles, power, hops, imagination and the effortlessness of all his dunks.
and he pretty much reinvented the dunk competition with the skills he displayed in 2000

1. dunk over 7 footer
2. over mourning
3. any of his windmills (especially ‘oops)
4. statue of liberty 360
