What guitar should I get that will play “Sweet Child O Mine” good?
I only have enough money for 1 beginner guitar, but I want to play that song on it the most. Can all of them sound good on that song (especially that beginning guitar solo part), or do they sound different, etc?? Any help appreciated, thank you!
Electric guitars can all be versatile in tone and sound by adjusting the knobs on the front of using the pickup selector.
You’ll probably be able to get a sound that is close enough for your ear with any guitar. However Slash from Guns ‘N’ Roses was all about the Gibson Les Paul guitar which runs from about $900 to upwards of $3000 dollars.
Gibson has an entry level line of guitars bearing the name Epiphone, these guitars will get the job done with mostly the same look and a close feel to the upper end guitars at a fraction of the cost.
You could probably find one for $150-300.
Any guitar should give you decent results. Good luck shopping around.
