car seat toys keep baby who hates car content?
I bought some car seat toys because Diego screams when he is put into the car seat and into the car
He is only 9 weeks so he really isnt interested in playing with toys but he does like to look at them.
I haven’t tried it out yet as I haven’t had to go anywhere.
I just wanted to know if anyone who had a baby who hated the car found car seat toys to work?
Diego has 3 hanging from the handle. 2 animal chimes and the other one is an elephant that rattles and when you pull it down it shakes back up.
I couldnt find any car toys that play music. he loves music so I wish I i did. I hope the chimes are enough.
Don’t look at car toys specifically but other toys that will work. Look for something with music and lights that can be turned on to play a while, like 20 minutes. The best thing we had came from a floor gym, those padded mats you put on the floor with toys that hang overhead and attach to loops. I think it was a bright stars one. It was a garden theme floor mat and you could raise the sides. It had this lady bug and her tummy made a light show while she either played songs or nature sounds.
Somebody mentioned the frog toy. He is really cute but the music only last a couple of seconds and your child has to make it work by pushing a button so it may be a few months before Diego can get into that one.
Look for mirrors, lights and music and then a way to attach to your car where the baby can see it (like the headrest) or the car seat. There are tons of baby toys that attach to rings so I would check those out because they are so versatile. Also crib toys or soothers made to attach to crib rails can often work in your car.
We also had this cushiony fish with a mirror on it and 3 toys. It had lights and music that were motion activated so it went off constantly from the motion of the car. Its made by Fisher Price. It has ties at the bottom and I think its considered a crib toy. I didn’t like it as much as the ladybug but it worked better on sunny days.
