Collection Brand
Is it illegal to take one of the fashion collection names of another designer as the name of your brand?
I’d like to take the name of Stretsis’s (Bangkok designer) fall winter 2007/8 line “Agent S.R.S.” or would there be a copyright infringement issue? It’s a little uncreative of me, I’d love to take the name!
It is probably a trademark issue, not copyright. And yes, it would be illegal and they could sue the crap out of you.
