Filled Teether
Best teething chew toys for a SMALL pup?
I have a mini dachshund who has just started her teething phase. Its been really hard to find her toy she can fit her mouth around!! She just weighed in last week at 4.8 pounds. She was born in January of this year.
I was wondering…Can baby teethers work? Like the hard plastic/rubber keys? NOT the liquid filled ones, just the firm rubber. Or stuffed baby toys with the teethers for hands?

I would always supervise her with these toys!! But I’d like to know if they are safe!
@Riley- Where did you get the frozen bone? I havent seen those at petsmart! She does have a rope toy tho that she loves!!!
I have a sheltie puppy right now who is 4.6 pounds and going through her teething phase too! (Sharp teeth, OUCH!). We got her a frozen bone, one that you wet with water then put in the freezer, and she just adores it. She is constantly biting onto it, licking the water, and just pressing her gums against it. They make them small enough for a 4lb puppy so it should be fine with your dachie.
Also another toy she seems to like is a half stuffed animal half rope thing we got at petsmart. She can play with the fluffy part and teeth on the rope.
