i took my industrial piercing out and put it back in again but now its swollen and green/yellow pus is visible?
i had my ear pierced last week, my industrial. But for certain reasons i had to take it out however i did put it back in again. i know it isn’t the cleverest of things but i had to repierce it becuase it had slightly closed up. now my ear is slightly swollen and green/yellow pus has appeared around the first piercing.. is this normal?
No, this indicates an infection due to the metal not being sterilised. You need to clean the area with a good medical antiseptic and if there is any pain or further irritation go see your doctor.
Some metals can on their own cause skin irritation in some people.
