Favorite childhood comfort item?
I think we all had that toy, blankie or something when we were younger.. and im sure some of us still have it…so what was your favorite childhood comfort item? Do you still have it? Mine was a teddy bear from that toy company Gund…its Bogie 15000…I named it Boji because I thought the name on the tag was hilarious when my mom read it to me haha anyways thanks for any answers

When I was about 8, and they were new out, the plush toy to have if you were my age, my mom got me a plush doll Pikachu.
I named her Papaya, because of a Dean Martin song (I think, I honestly can’t remember/care) she has gone everywhere I ahve since then, she’s gone through the washing machine at a hotel and nearly gotten lost, my basterd step dad decided to put her in the freezer for a week when I was 10 and really thought I’d lost her. (Yet to my entire family this was so funny, yes, because the gut wrenching fear and pain of a ten year old who thinks they’ve lsot their favorite thing in the world is so hilarious…) She went to boarding school with me, college, and now she lives with me.
She’s now a grungy yellowish brown, the brown is fading, the white dots of her eyes were long ago replaced by purple sparkly nail varnish when they rubbed out, and her tail became disconected about a month after I got her.
