Why did my Jewish neighbours dislike my Christmas presents?
For Christmas I gave them a beautiful, handmade, wooden replica of the nativity scene. They seem to not like it and i found it in the trash the next morning.
Are you sure you’re not a troll??
Why would you give your JEWISH neighbors a representation of the “Nativity”, which is a central event in the CHRISTIAN religion? What did you suppose they would want with a wooden statuette-set of the birth of J*sus, when J*sus is totally irrelevant to Judaism and to Jews. And what’s more, over the past two millenia, a great deal of harm has been done to Jews in the name of J*sus.
If you had deliberately intended to insult them, this gift would have been an excellent choice. They probably assumed that insulting them is what you intended.
If you didn’t intend to insult them, your gift was a completely insensitive choice at best.
Next time, give them Barton’s chocolates.
Or else, you’re a troll, it’s the only other explanation…
