How to tame a wild kitty cat?
There is a beautiful blue eyed cat that has been hanging around our property but she won’t let us get very close to her or touch her. She is BEAUTIFUL and I want her for my very own house cat. Does any body have any ideas how I can get her to trust me and win her over?
I just took in 2 wild cats. It took about 2 months before I could get them in. I fed them every night and am. First feeding them close to the door and then moving the food right inside the door. I would keep the door open at first with a piece of wood since they would not come close to me if I was standing holding the door open. When I had the chance I closed the door (took many tries with them getting out) and kept them inside. They cried for about 1 week really bad at the door about getting out and then about 2-3 weeks not as bad and then things starting getting better. I had a harder time getting them into a carrier to take to the vet. Wrap her in towel before putting her into the carrier so she can’t get out. Make sure she has no disease, fleas or worms. Get her fixed and shots. Mine are doing better now and let me kiss them and pick them up…etc. Good luck and thanks for taking an interest. We need more people like you.
