Are Lamaze toys safe? How do I find out?
I bought my 5-month-old son Logan the Lion by Lamaze earlier this week. He’s been chewing on it since we placed it in his chubby hands. Then since yesterday he developed signs of malaise..it’s making me paranoid, as he’s always been a healthy baby and hasn’t had any change in his routines. He’s also more irritable and shows signs of general unease. Everytime he naps or sleeps he’d wake up screaming or crying, and he hasn’t done this in ages. I Googled the web for something to soothe me but was surprised to find this!

I thought Lamaze toys are supposed to be safe, and now I find one of their activity toys to contain arsenic and other contaminants. How do I ensure Logan is on the safe side? Oh lord do help young paranoid mums like me!
p/s: he isn’t teething, he’s been chewing on things since he was 2 months old! Only he does it with more gusto now.
There are lead test kits at stores, and I believe they also have tests for other bad stuff as well. I’m so paranoid too! I’m afraid to buy my daughter toys because she puts everything in her mouth as well. I read Parents, and in every issue, there’s a recall list in there.
