Park Toile
Does toile go with damask?
My daughters’ have child-sized Victorian furniture covered in blue velvet damask. My friend gave me a pink toile (P Kaufmann Central Park Toile Raspberry) valance and panels. I hate not to use them, but am afraid it’s mixing too many styles… Country French and Victorian?
Think something in a plain faux silk would be better?
The walls are almost-white pink.

Lay the valances and panels over the existing curtains, stand back, take a look and see what you think.
If it looks good to you then use it.
No hard, in stone rules when decorating.
I think it could work if you bring something into the room that has some blue and pink in it.
