How can I wash my jellycat truffle pig?!?
I guess you might not know what I’m talking about unless you have one!! They are the big plush baby animal pillows made by jellycat.
The problem is my baby was sick on hers and I don’t know whether I can put it in the machine or not…
I can’t find the washing instructions anywhere online, only the jellycat tagline, “Care instructions: lots of love” which is cute, but not terrribly helpful!
Anyone who can help, I’d be really grateful.
try first spot cleaning with a little bit of water. If that doesn’t work add some mild soap to it. Still doesn’t work and the fabric is still in good condition (the water or soap didn’t harm it) then it should be ok for the washer but don’t dry since drying can harm some stuffed animals and only wash on a cycle set for delicates. When you go to spot clean make sure that you test a small area that isn’t noticable first to make sure that it won’t harm the fabric. As for if it is machine washable…you can try some stain remover if it still doesn’t come out…but set in stains are alot harder to clean then fresher ones (the dryer definatly sets in stains) and don’t use hot water cuz that will cause the stains to set also.
I really don’t know what jellycat is but this is what I would do with something I didn’t know how to clean. Good luck, I hope it helps.
