Polka Dot
Anyone know a good polka dot knitting pattern for a blanket?
I am looking to make a polka – dot blanket for my baby cousin and i cant find any patterns with polka dots!!! any suggestions?
The easiest answer is to just do the whole blanket in a plain pattern and add the dots later using duplicate stitch. If you try and knit them into the blanket you are going to be carrying a lot of yarn across the back of the blanket as you’d have to do it in a type of fair isle stitch.
Note also that your dots won’t necessarily be small circles as that isn’t how knitting stitches work, however you can have a try.
