Wilson BLX Juice Pro or Babolat Roddick Pure Drive 2012?
I am a 4.5 baseliner playing for 3 years. I have a semi western forehand and a two handed backhand and I topspin a lot. I really love to top spin and slice. I am looking for a racket that will give me a little bit extra power (especially for the serve) and more spin potential to my shots. The two rackets that i am torn between are the new Babolat Pure Drive Roddick that is coming out in february and the Wilson Juice Pro Blx. I actually like both feels, stiff and plush. However i’d rather have a more of a players racket than a tweener. (I thought of the Head Prestige pro and Wilson K Factor but i do not want them much). I don’t care about volleys that much. The swingweight for both rackets is just about right for me both of them 11.9 oz. So please help me!!!
Exicanha dancer thanks for the opinion. But i live in Europe and in Europe you unfortunately can’t demo the rackets unless you live in France or Germany. The Steam seems to be just a touch too light for me
Ok first of to the first answer those players sport a paint job on a pro stock racquet which is made special to them and the babolat I’ve already played with both and the babolat has a crisp feel and the power with control is unmatched although a little lead at the top wouldn’t hurt anyone considering its headlight and the serving is way better you can get more spin and power I’m buying the roddick plus this month when it officially releases also the juice is just an updated pro series racquet a very unstuffy frame I cracked three in 5 months and I only bought two which leads me to say its unreliable they crack inside the frame a lot and it happened to me during matches so I have to switch
