I still want to try again but I only have a dark poem. Can you understand this?
My Early Journey
As the cold wind blows
outside my door,
coccooned in four lonely walls,
the lions of winter blast and roar,
the echos of summer falls,
and I rattle about the room
with shadows as my friends,
hidden in silence like a tomb,
awaiting my life to end.
No one has come to me in days
and I, in fear, have not gone
because they do not like my ways.
I am not sure I will carry on.
The sun has set my wasteland alight
and shadows will soon overtake me.
Slowly, my eyes lose their incurious sight
as I at length my journey await.
I know you don’t like rhyming but I do. I can’t not rhyme. It dosen’t ever make sense if I don’t. It’s not meant to be self centered.
