Security Blanky
How long should I allow my son to keep his security blanket?
He’s 3 and I think that he’s okay to still have it, but I don’t want him to be 7 and going to a friend’s house for a sleep over and need his “blanky” to go to bed. So what age do you think a security object should be retired?
I think as long as he wants it. Its not something to be ashamed of, its more for comfort. I am 16 and I still sleep with a blanket, but I don’t take them over to friends houses or sleepovers. I call it my “kiki”. lol
