20 interview questions with baseball star Jim Morris?
I need 15-20 interview questions and answers with baseball star Jim Morris about his life and baseball.
Morris was hardly a star, but he was a great story. I met him while he was on his book tour (well worth reading) and asked him a few Qs myself.
What’s he up to now?
Any second thoughts?
Interested in coaching in the pros? (His playing days are clearly over.)
…or are they? Does he play amateur ball around his town?
How about scouting?
How did he like the movie?
Does he still get autograph requests? How often?
As a Texan, did he follow the Rangers this year? What does he think will happen in the World Series? (Obviously this one becomes irrelevant soon.)
What did he think of the 2008 Rays, the only team he ever played for?
And then just bounce some boilerplate baseball questions off him — should the playoffs expand (more teams or longer series), does baseball need a salary cap, what would he do to get the Cubs to win, what advice does he have for young pitchers, etc.
