Stuffed Elephant
My husband wouldn’t let me bring my elephant stuffed animal into the doctor’s office today ?
I had to get some blood drawn so I brough along my elephant stuffed animal who I was going to hold while they were drawing blood b/c it helps calm down to hold a stuffed animal b/c I really don’t like needles. However, my husband said I wasn’t allowed to take it out of the car!! I got so upset with him and he put the elephant in the trunk and made me go inside and people could tell I had been crying. How can I make my husband understand that stuffed animals are something that comfort me and help me calm down in stressful or scary situations? He is a guy and I don’t think he understands this.
