Blanket Lovey blanket in crib? At what age can I put a blanket or my son’s lovey in the crib with him? (he is 10 months old) When a baby is able to move himself you can give him a blanket. The reason you dont give tiny infants a blanket is because they dont yet have the controlled movement required to remove something from their face if they cant breathe.
