Is my toy poodle puppy the right height and weight?
I just brought home a lovely little boy toy poodle on Saturday. He’s 5 inch tall from feet to shoulders and weighs 1 and a half pound.
He is 7 weeks old this week. Does his weight and height sound about right for a toy at this age?

Your vet can answer that when you take him in over the next few days. Any time you bring home a new dog, whether it is an adult or puppy, you should have him thoroughly examined by your vet. He will examine your pup’s size, weight, ears, eyes and all around general health.
