Transparency Scrapbooking
what type material is best for rubons in scrapbooking? Can you use a transparency for a rub on?

you need:
inkjet printer
transparency sheet for inkjet printers
and a popsicle stick
using psp, photoshop, microsoft word or another text or photo-editing program, type out your title, words, or letters in the desired font (you can insert images too). when you’re ready to print, open the properties dialog box in your printer utility and select “reverse,” “mirror image,” “flip,” or “iron-on transfer” to make y our text or image print backwards.
print on the shiny side of the transparency using the plain paper setting (not transparency). choose the photo enhanced or best quality print setting. this slows down the printing and deposits more ink onto the transparency, which allows you to transfer the ink more easily. let the ink dry for at least 5 minutes.
place the transparency over your paper with the printed side touching the paper. be sure not to shift the transparency around too much or it might smear. holding down two corners of the transparency, use a popsicle stick and burnish over the printed area to transfer the ink to the paper. you can reuse the transparency to print more rub-ons – just be sure to wipe it off with a damp cloth after each use.
